A husband and wife team living and working in Albany, Clive and Jenny Kendrick collaborate to produce embellished turned timber art pieces. Clive is a wood turner and Jenny adds her artistic touch to much of his work, producing bespoke pieces of fine Australian woodwork. Clive bought his first wood lathe in 1995 when he retired from schoolteaching and by the following year he was making gallery pieces. Having wanted to be a graphic artist in her youth before becoming a schoolteacher, Jenny has found a new outlet for her artistic creativity – adding embellishments to the rims of platters, hollow forms and lidded boxes.
