About Jill Yelland

Jill Yelland studied graphic design and printmaking before changing her artistic medium to kiln-formed glass. Her work is inspired by the kaleidoscope of colours of the Western Australian landscapes, from the Outback to our natural coastlines. The bold colours, textures, forms and patterns, created by nature over millenia, form the concepts of her glass artworks. Each is individual and unique and tries to convey the essence of the location or region which inspired it.
