Hungarian-born and science-trained, Judy Rogers moved to Western Australia in 1995. Her work spans intricate mixed media creations and large-scale public sculptures. With a fresh and passionate vision to her work, Judy’s paintings serve as surveys of her personal relationship with the country. She develops a close relationship with her chosen plant, much like the intimate connection she fosters with her portrait subjects. Ultimately, the personalities of both the plant and the artist shine through in her work.
