Lisa Quinn-Schofield is an artist based in Trigg, Western Australia. Living between the ocean and bushland, this space has become a constant source of inspiration, healing, contemplation and nostalgia. Lisa’s creative process centres on the exploration of human emotion and awareness, intuitively connected to the use of colours that resonate with feelings and sensations. Her paintings experiment with different coloured translucent layers of paint and oil sticks so that luminosity appears to emerge from the darkness, creating an interplay of opposing forces and weaving together themes of renewal and transformation.
