Born in Norfolk, England, Reegan Jackson is a multidisciplinary artist who currently resides and practices in the hills of Perth. Recent explorations in his practice have seen him turn to more traditional mediums of charcoal, pigment, ink and clay. Pulling back to the roots of where creative minds would have first attempted to engage the world through art as a form of expression and communication. Mainly working in methods of sculpture, mark making and photography, he attempts to go beyond traditional processes through material experimentation and technologically altered engagements. Performing systems of process looking to assemble poetic visual puzzles that make us reconsider our place within the world.
