Stacy Gardoll

Born and raised in Perth, Stacy paints from her home in the Perth foothills. She paints contemporary realist oil paintings inspired by natural themes, predominantly botanicals. She strives to capture the calmness and stillness of nature as a source of reflection and meditation, and as a respite from the chaos and noise of city life. She finds endless inspiration in the natural world, and is particularly drawn to the shapes found within botanical forms. Playing with scale is a common theme, magnifying small-scale blossoms so they can be experienced and enjoyed up close.
