Artist Awards

Introduced in 2017 as part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations, the presentation of Art Awards has become an important part of the annual Fine Art@Hale exhibition.

Unique in a Western Australian school-based exhibition, the awards are seen by the FA@H Committee as an important acknowledgement of the incredible work brought to the exhibition by the many talented artists in our community.

Unfortunately, given the 2020 exhibition will be via an online catalogue and sale, art prizes for the Best Artwork and Emerging Artist Award will not be awarded for 2020.

The People’s Choice Award and Brine House Purchase will continue to operate. Voters in the People’s Choice Competition will go in the draw to win this stunning ceramic piece from the 2019 FA@H Exhibition, Swoop, by Sandra Black. We hope that visitors to the website will take the time to view the catalogue and vote for their favourite artwork here. The successful artist of the People’s Choice vote will win $500.
