Danica’s work captures the essence of the unique natural biodiversity in Australia, often using impressions from nature to create textures and patterns. Her porcelain vessels are created on the potter’s wheel before illustrations and stylised designs are carved into the surface. The finished, glazed and fired pieces are works of art created to be functional, durable and safe for use. Danica’s work reflects a passion for native Australian flowers and birds, as well as threatened species within Western Australia.
