Liam Dee is a Perth surrealist who enjoys blending the styles of traditional painting with the bombastic energy of pop culture. Liam’s vision is to create worlds where the construct of the natural environment is supported by the organic manifestation of the man-made and the line between natural and synthetic is blurred. Taking influence from prominent street artists such as Jeff Soto and Shaun Tan, Liam’s art is a mix of realism with psychedelic form, texture and colour to create a sense of organic life constructed from the inorganic.
