Linda Stokes

Linda Stokes is a Perth hills artist who has been working in textiles and mixed media since graduating from Curtin University in 1999. Her work is rich with layers of texture, colour, and pattern. Working intuitively, she combines materials and process, responding to each step, adding and subtracting as the work progresses, giving a sense of depth and history to her work. Nature has always been a source of inspiration for Linda, particularly the textures, colours & shapes from the local hills environment.
