Lyn Franke

Born in Perth, Lyn Franke holds an Advanced Certificate in Art & Design. Her art includes acrylic on canvas and textile-based works on paper incorporating mixed media, flora, painted muslin, silk, fibres and machine stitch. Lyn is inspired to capture the vibrant colour and feel of Western Australia with its unique surfaces, textures and fragility. Her works include landscapes, rockpools, seascapes and the use of detailed abstract perspective. Using various techniques, she creates patterns, atmosphere and feeling within her work.
