Reif Myers

Reif Myers was born in Maui, Hawaii in 1992 and relocated to WA in 1995.  A keen surfer and son of Perth artist Jos Myers, Reif spent a lot of his childhood at the beach and in her art studio, growing up surrounded by walls of large colourful artworks by Jos and other artists. This connection fuelled his drive to start Ocean Zone boardies as a fifteen-year-old, digitalising his artworks onto board shorts. Using acrylic paints, Reif’s paintings are bright, fun and relatable. Featuring many of his signature icons, his paintings aim to encourage the viewer to spend time pointing out new things and hopefully have a laugh.
