Ric Burkitt

Ric Burkitt is a former graphic designer, part-time painting tutor and full-time artist working in a variety of styles and mediums from his Stoneville studio. He is best known for his striking and dynamic abstract works, which explore the expressive potential of non-representational painting. His current body of work includes mixed-media landscape paintings that evoke the mood and atmosphere of Stoneville’s surrounding countryside. Through the use of colour, line, shape, and texture, he aims to forge emotional connections and convey impressions and insights that resonate with viewers.
