Teresa Fernandez

Working mainly in acrylic, Teresa is a visual artist who finds inspiration and subject matter in everyday life and uses her ‘backyard’ in Perth as a source of endless stimulation: the beach, the bush, the kitchen cupboard. Curiosity and experimentation are significant motivators resulting in art that is not placed within the boundaries of a single style. Teresa’s work varies between still life and abstract, sometimes quirky; she is more interested in discovery than settling into one form of expression.
