Tineke Van der Eecken’s jewellery and sculptural works in fine metal are sensitive wearable narratives of place. She weaves her Belgian family influences of textile making in with more traditional jewellery making techniques, and utilizes carefully selected gemstones and cast elements of the natural world to draw attention to what we fear to lose, offering a new perspective on what is truly precious.
