Aaron Moore’s art practice focuses on mark-making – both gestural marks and the marks our lives leave on the people and world around us. Aaron’s distinctive paintings capture burgeoning floral bouquets on luminous sheets of Perspex. Painted using oils, the figurative works use a variety of loose mark-making techniques to create representations of Australian native wildflowers that merge and flow into amalgamations of floral forms. Aaron studied at the National Art School in Sydney, and earned a Master in Refugee Studies from the University of Oxford and a Master in Fine Arts from the University of New South Wales.
