The annual Fine Art@Hale exhibition showcases the work of emerging and established Western Australian artists across the creative media of painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, glass, ceramics and jewellery.
Exhibiting with Fine Art@Hale is by invitation only. The committee considers artists who have applied, those who have exhibited previously and extends invitations to other artists that they wish to support. Each year, the committee invites around 25 new artists to exhibit at FA@H for the first time, ensuring that the collection reflects a dynamic, fresh and innovative array of work.
As a school-based community art exhibition, FA@H also provides an opportunity for Hale School students to explore the collection as an extension of their curriculum based learning. Selected artists may be invited to be involved in various on-campus activities, including artist in residence programs, practical workshops and artist talks to student groups from Year 1 all the way through to our ATAR Visual Art students.
