The annual Fine Art@Hale exhibition showcases the work of emerging and established Western Australian artists across the creative media of painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, glass, ceramics and jewellery.
Exhibition of work in Fine Art@Hale is by invitation only. The committee considers artists who have applied, those who have exhibited previously and extends invitations to other artists that they wish to support. Each year, the committee invites around 25 new artists to exhibit at FA@H for the first time, ensuring that the collection reflects the dynamic and innovative array of works from both established and emerging Western Australian artists.
In addition to providing a platform for artists to exhibit and sell their artwork, as a school-based community art exhibition, FA@H also provides an opportunity for Hale School students to explore the collection as an extension of their curriculum based learning. Selected artists may be invited by FA@H to be involved in various on-campus activities, including artist in residence programs, practical workshops and artist talks to student groups from Year One all the way through to our ATAR Art Students.
