About Kevin Singer

Originally from New Zealand, Kevin Singer has retired to Injidup in the Southwest. He is self-taught, developing skills as needed to complete his steel sculptures. His works range from intricate Bonsai trees adorned with gold leaf to a four metre Wedge-tail eagle. Kevin’s career as a clinical academic in anatomy gifted him an ability to visualise structure and its attendant functional requirements. He is inspired to create works that ‘animate’ an object and simultaneously challenge the mind. His philosophy is simple: “If I can sketch it, I can create it.”
