With a background studying architecture and fine art in Belgium, Lorraine Defleur is now a Perth based artist with a passion for linear creations and representation of micro structural space. Through lines or repeated patterns and black ink, she creates dreamscapes which sometimes represent reality such as the extraordinary beauty of the Australian land. Other times, these dreamscapes represent something more abstract such as the duality between nature and human intervention, or snapshots of brain activity that have a universal echo for the viewer.
