Olive Cheng is a Perth-based wood burning and mural artist. She works across a wide range of media and is best known for her pyrographic artworks depicting native Australian botanicals, most often based on sites around Perth. Originally trained as a landscape architect and then primary educator, she holds a Bachelor of Design and Master of Teaching from UWA. After five years as a teacher, she left her full-time primary school teacher role in 2022 to pursue her arts practice professionally.
