Roslyn Hamdorf’s love of the Australian landscape started as a child with holidays spent camping and fossicking around the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Murchison and Kimberley. Her works study the process of erosion and how it shapes what we see today. Created primarily with oils, her paintings seek to find the quiet spaces that allow us to rest in these large bold vistas. Most days, Roslyn can be found in her studio in Quindalup – not always productive, but always curious.
