Joie Villeneuve

Joie Villeneuve was born in Minnesota and holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Working from her studios in Wembley and Mandurah, Joie is a contemporary visual artist examining the connection between one’s outer environment and one’s inner consciousness by use of symbolism. Land, water, flora and fauna are drawn upon as inspiration and to expand upon this connection. Her work is an intricate fusion of texture, colour and materials. The multimedia nature invites the viewer to come closer and interact with the artwork.
