Tatiana Amaral

Tatiana grew up in São Paulo where she obtained an internationally recognised Fine Arts Degree. She started to experiment with using paper to produce artwork at a young age, tearing up her father’s books to make collages and papier-mâché.  She now uses paper to create “petals”  and paint to create abstract, repetitious patterns. She is inspired by nature, colours and texture, but her art also expresses her emotions and life lessons. Using salvaged and reconstructed materials, her work symbolises the regeneration born of nature’s continuous cycles, and seeks to represent the natural beauty she sees in her new Australian home.
