David Spencer

Based in Fremantle, David Spencer is an abstract artist working across painting, sculpture, and public art. Drawing inspiration from memory, travel, and the landscapes of Western Australia, his work combines bold colour, layered texture, and instinctive composition to create art that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant. With over 30 years of practice, David has presented 18 solo exhibitions and more than 60 group shows, and has delivered major public art commissions across Western Australia.
