Georgia Bisley

Georgia Bisley is a contemporary textile artist based in Perth, Western Australia. Georgia’s practice is fundamentally driven by materiality and colour, repurposing and manipulating found and remnant yarns to produce her distinctive, large-scale works. Often subversive, these contemporary ‘tapestries’ are rendered in palettes that are as counter-intuitive as they are harmonious due to her unique command of colour.
