Lorraine Pichugin is a Western Australian oil painter who plays with thoughts and emotions through light and shadows, with the aim to create a sense of drama and a touch of allusiveness in her work. Lorraine uses layers of colour to create aesthetically honest, realistic paintings that have a sense of place and presence. Having won several awards, and with paintings in private collections locally and internationally, Lorraine’s art practice has always been about discovering and sharing with others the peace, grace and elegance surrounding us.
